Reimagining the identity of an online review platform
Background
2 Step Reviews is an effective online platform and mobile app that aggregates online reviews into a dashboard to help their clients gather reviews and grow their business. It also offers a powerful reputation management module to track and respond to reviews.
Objective
2 Step Reviews engaged zeropoint7 Studio to redesign its brand identity as the visual identity they had at the time did not accurately and effectively reflect the brand’s key attributes, did not connect with their target clients, and was extremely limiting in its application across the various media.

Crafting the logo mark
The logo mark/app icon utilizes a hexagon shape as its foundation, removing the top section of the shape, while introducing two optically offset lines in its negative space. The result is a logo mark with a distinctive personality that combines a unique, abstract shape of a speech bubble that indicates a client’s review together with a 3/4 perspective view of two steps/stairs leading upwards, expressing growth that clients will experience through the 2 step review process.

The 2 Step Reviews logo mark was selected by an international judging panel of 10 top identity design professionals to be published in the twelfth edition of the best- selling LogoLounge book series. Only top logos make the cut, and this logo design is among the top 3,000 marks published in this highly-respected design book.
